Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cuppa Studio or any CuppaTech service ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Cuppa Studio is a presentation tool that provides:

  • Markdown-to-slides compilation with animated transitions
  • AI-powered presentation generation and refinement
  • A web-based playground for creating and previewing presentations
  • A command-line interface (CLI) for local development
  • An embeddable player for publishing presentations
  • Self-contained HTML export for offline use

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Service for lawful purposes only
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not attempt to breach security measures or abuse rate limits
  • Not reverse engineer the application
  • Report security vulnerabilities responsibly

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limiting or access controls
  • Redistribute the Service or its components in violation of the license
  • Use the AI features to generate content that violates Anthropic's usage policies
  • Impersonate CuppaTech or misrepresent affiliation with us

Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of all presentation content you create
  • We do not claim any rights to your presentations or markdown
  • You are responsible for the content you create and share
  • You may export and use your presentations in any way you choose

AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated presentations are provided as-is and may contain inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
  • AI features are subject to rate limits and availability

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

  • Cuppa Studio, CuppaTech, and all related trademarks are owned by Cuppa Technologies
  • The application design, code, and documentation are protected by copyright
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property except as permitted by the applicable license

Your Rights

  • You retain all rights to your presentation content
  • You may export and transfer your presentations at any time

Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • The web playground and AI features require an internet connection
  • The CLI tool functions offline after installation
  • We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee error-free operation
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for content generated by AI features
  • Our total liability is limited to fees paid (if any) in the last 12 months

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cuppa Technologies from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time
  • We may restrict access if you violate these Terms
  • Rate-limited users will have access restored after the limit window expires

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
